Casablanca is not just that legendary movie, one of the greatest films of all time, stared by Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman in this mythical Moroccan city, Casablanca is the biggest city of Morocco and North Africa region with a population of about 3.71 million in the urban area and over 6 million in the Greater Casablanca.
well known by its white vibe as its name indicates, Casablanca is a modern city full of different arts and vividly shining on the Atlantic ocean.

As the economic capital of Morocco, Casablanca is Located in the central-western part of Morocco bordering the Atlantic Ocean, it is Morocco's chief port and the largest financial centers in Africa, thanks to its " Casa Financial city" hub.

Casablanca's famous icon is the Hassan II mosque, which has one of the tallest minarets, actually It is the world's second tallest minaret at 210 metres (689 ft), the mosque is perceived as the most beautiful worldwidely due to its Moroccan architectural detailed design hand made by Moroccan artisans, and the fact that it was built on water made of it a touristic hub for the country that hosts more than 12M tourists per year.

the Hassan II mosque historical story:
it was built by all Moroccans, the late King of Morocco "Hassan II " asked every Moroccan to contribute in its building, Moroccans responded geniunly, the purpose wasn't only to have an iconic monument for the biggest city of Morocco, but to help boost the economy that was suffering from a severe inflation at that periode of time.
this decision helped more than 10.000 Moroccan artisans from all over the kingdom.
A city of Art and festivals
1- l'boulevard
is an urban music festival held annually in Casablanca, Morocco since 1999. The festival is 4 days long, with one day for each of the four genres of the festival:
electro
rap
rock/metal
fusion
It is hosting national and international famous artists, but also allowing young musical groups from Morocco and other countries to gain exposure to a larger audience. There are three main components to the event:
- L'Boulevard Festival

- the Tremplin competition

- Sbagha Bagha : an opportunity for graffiti artists to cover the "White City" with their creations
